Is one of your health goals to be able to have full use of your arm without pain? Do you want to make sure you know how to prevent a rotator cuff injury? Do you want to be able to play with your children without pain? Want to be able to get back into a workout routine? Want to be able to carry things without pain? PBAM can help you achieve those goals by alleviating the pain that impedes them. Our goal is yours, to have you enjoy life’s activities with little to no pain.
This special event will focus on the supraspinatus muscle and tendon. The rotator cuff is actually composed of four muscles: supraspinatus, infraspinatus, subscapularis, and teres minor. The supraspinatous is the most common one to get injured and inflamed leading to shoulder tendonitis or as many refer to as “shoulder pain.”
This lecture will give you some basic education on the anatomy of the supraspinatous. We will cover what the most common causes of injury are, how to avoid them, and how acupuncture can treat them. We will also go over some acupressure points you can massage yourself. There will have a short demonstration.
There are more solutions for shoulder pain than pain medications and surgery. Although in sever cases surgery may be necessary, I believe it can be avoided in most cases. I have personally helped several clients avoid injections, pain medications, and surgery. My goal is to give people options that are less invasive while achieving the ultimate goal, freedom from pain.
This event is limited to 20 people, so reserve your spot quickly. An excellent opportunity for athletes and non-athlets alike to learn about and most importantly PREVENT should pain.
Prevention is cheaper than the cure!
