I am confident in my ability to minimize your pain, decrease your stress, and assist you in cultivating a lifestyle that promotes healing. I can only do so much. I want to empower you to take over. I will hold your hand and help your body get back on the path to wellbeing. Only you can maintain it. Through diet, exercise, meditation, stress management and keeping up with your treatment plan, you will see results.
Many of us have fallen into habits that are not conducive to good health. Sitting all day, eating processed foods, lack of exercise, and not managing stress can all cause dis-ease. In a culture where we are expected to put in hard hours and provide for our families, it is hard to balance health/work/life. There are things that you can do every day to meet the expectations of your job and your family without harming your health. With guidance and dedication, you can make everyday productive and healthy. I have worked in corporate wellness for a few years with success in helping make the workplace healthy. It can happen.
Injuries are often time the result of not paying attention to your body or the movements you are making. Most injuries are repetitive strain injuries. These types of injuries occur over a long period. I help to treat and prevent these injuries from happening. We can catch issues early so they do not manifest into something that could require surgery or invasive pharmaceutical treatment.
There are alternatives to pain relievers. Narcotics and NSAIDS pain killers are not the answer you are looking for. The evidence is piling up of the horrific side effects from long term use. Liver disease, addiction, and GI issues to name a few. Acupuncture helps reduce pain and treat the root of the pain without harmful side effects.
